Sweet Meredith turned 4!

Happy Birthday Darling~

She celebrated with our family at Chuck E Cheese this afternoon and had an absolute blast!

Nana got her a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake, we had tons of pizza, she played lots of games and got a bunch of gifts.

Oh to be 4 again.

I'm so very happy for her, this is the *first* year that she's been really well on her birthday. Last year she was just recovering from her surgery and the years before she was sick.

I loved seeing her smile and when we got home, we spent a few hours playing with everything she got.

I'll post pics later.

Ok, I'm sick of this knee situation!

I'm still very limited on what I can do and I'm so freakin' sick of it!

I'm starting to get pissed off that I even had the stupid surgery done in the first place.

I wake up in the mornings with pain and have to take a pain pill, I don't like doing that but I just can't deal with it.

Since I know that I've got arthritis now in there, I'm going to talk to my regular doc about what I should or shouldn't being doing for that.

I'm just frustrated this morning!

My knee is slowly getting better. I truly don't remember it taking this long to recover from surgery last time but that was six years ago, my brain has been through a lot since then. It's still achy from my knee down to my foot but that seems to be getting better every day.

Are you a coupon shopper? I didn't used to be but started at the beginning of June and am amazed at how much money we've saved! Albertson's just had another triple coupon weekend and we got well over $1,000.00 worth of stuff for under $100.00. I'm still learning and hope to get my percentages lower in time. We love shopping this way and will be able to make donations to either our local women's shelter or our local food bank.

Band camp started today. It's been so hot here, so I hope the kids are prepared to sweat a lot :)

My mom is suffering a terrible time right now.

Her best friend of 40+ years died on Saturday, of cancer. She initially had breast cancer and lived with it for about 10 years...most of those years being spent in some type of treatment or another.

I have such fond memories of her.
She would let Kim and I make a pan of macaroni and cheese and eat in the den while watching cartoons.
She made fabulous cakes.
She was an incredible seamstress.
She was funny, kind, loving.

She will be missed by many and I'm thankful that she didn't have to suffer any longer.

Rest in Peace, Elainia and know that you're loved and missed by many.

PT was a killer yesterday. I left crying.

I had the pain well under control and the swelling was down but after pt yesterday it's swollen up again. I can see the white where a stitch is pulling and I've hurt all night long.

I'm not sure my knee was ready to walk and lift over small cones, kept feeling like it was going to pop.

Going to doctor this morning, will see what he says.

Wow, everytime I think I'm going to be posting again...I don't.

I'm not sure why, I think I became worried about the fact that no one reads...so why bother...but that doesn't really matter to me.

I like blogging, it gives me a release...a way to get things out and to remember them as well.

I had knee surgery last Friday and Oh My God, this is the most painful thing ever! I'm praising God everyday for painkillers.

I started pt last friday and go again today, it's generally a killer and I tend to hurt afterwards but it's what has to be done.

I had this same surgery done six years ago on the other knee and swore I'd never have the other one done but the pain got too bad and I decided to bite the bullet.

Time for more pain pills...Yipee...reduced pain for a while!

Angie's Insanity
My Sanity-Do you have it?
Really, I'm looking for it...if you find it, hang on to it for me ;)

Wife to my Very Best Friend & Mom to a **Teenage** son and a 4 year old Daughter.

11 years between the...ahem...darling...children...they both think they are only children.

Strong willed, independent, each one is **ALWAYS RIGHT** so the other is **ALWAYS WRONG** and so on...no wonder I'm looking for my mind half the time!
