It's a Beautiful Day here in Texas!

The sun is shining and the skies are clear, so why in the heck did I decide to start cleaning today?

Maybe because I can't walk through the office anymore and I can't stand it for another second!

When did I allow this room to become the catch all for every item and piece of crap that comes into the house.

Got a piece of paper and you're too lazy to put it up, dump it on Mom's desk!
Mer gets something she's not supposed to have, I dump it on my desk!
School paperwork...goes on my desk!

Ebay Stuff
Cameras
This
That
Everything

Well...out it's going...

Buh Bye...Cya...

Hahahaha...at least I feel better writing about it!

~Hope You had a Merry, Merry Christmas!~

We sure did!

Mom & Dad recovered enough from the flu to have Christmas and thankfully with the antiviral, we didn't get it!

Josh seemed to be happy with his Limited Edition U2 I-Pod...who wouldn't be and his new television for his room among other things.

Mer loved her Princess Bicycle and her Loving Family Dollhouse.

As much as I love Christmas, I'm ready to get the stuff packed up and outta' my house until next Christmas!

Quiz Time...

Snagged this from Rita!

i'm in gryffindor!

be sorted @ nimbo.net

Congratulations on making Gryffindor!

Basically, you're brave, daring, chivalrous, and pretty much.. an all around good person. Of course, some see you as a goodie-two-shoes. But hey, it's true! You're really good at winning, and normally always come out as the hero. Everybody likes you.. except, maybe, the Slytherins. You're too perfect. No, really.. You're too perfect. It's annoying to watch you win, repeatedly. Oh well. Be proud anyway.

Can You Say Hello Flu!

My Dad has been admitted to the hospital with both pnuemonia and the Flu...poor guy. Men don't generally go to the doctor but this time he went and I think Mom said he even went twice, which might just be a record for him but didn't help him because he's just sick, sick and sick.

They came to Josh's band concert on Tuesday night and of course Mer loves her Papa so she wants to sit on him, by him, with him, be with him, be in his space, breathe his air...you know...the stuff girls do with their grandfather's.

She started coughing on Thursday and by last night was spitting up yellow green stuff and had a runny nose.

I called her pulmonologist this morning and he's put the entire family on Tamiflu so hopefully we won't get it...that's the good news.

Bad news...called my mom this morning...she woke up coughing, shakes, chills which means she's prolly got it...ugh...not good.

Hospital is full, dad had to stay in the er all night.

I'll be at the pharmacy as soon as it opens this morning for our meds!

What a Beautiful Weekend!

The weather was gorgeous, in the mid 70's and Mer was in fine form!

This is my last week with Mer in Mother's Day Out and Josh in school so I like the rest of the mom's will be out finishing up any last minute shopping and then I'm finished.

I'm really finished now but it gives me a few days to go over the lists and make sure I'm not missing anything that I wanted to pick up.

You done shopping?

~Happy Monday!~

Mer, Mom & I went to the mall on friday and had pics made with Santa. She's past the screaming stage...woohoo! Her wishlist consists of "lots of bicycles", she's so easy to please.

It's been a long time since my mom has lived so close by, I loved just being able to hang out with her. Mer saw Santa...Mom & I talked...we shopped a little, talked a lot...Mer rode the train...Mom & I talked. We talk a lot, laugh even more. It's nice having her back around.

Have a Great Monday!

Angie's Insanity
My Sanity-Do you have it?
Really, I'm looking for it...if you find it, hang on to it for me ;)

Wife to my Very Best Friend & Mom to a **Teenage** son and a 4 year old Daughter.

11 years between the...ahem...darling...children...they both think they are only children.

Strong willed, independent, each one is **ALWAYS RIGHT** so the other is **ALWAYS WRONG** and so on...no wonder I'm looking for my mind half the time!
