~Happy Easter~
What a wonderful day!
We went to church, the message was wonderful and then the family got together at my grandmothers house for lunch.
I got to see baby Kyle for the first time and oh boy, he's such a cutie! So little and smoochie, slept the entire time...I sure hope he doesn't keep mommy and daddy awake all night tonight.
I remember those days, desperately waiting until I could get just 4 hours of straight sleep...couldn't wait for that time to come.
Mer will be 4 in July and yes, there are already plenty of times when I quietly watch her in the moment...when she's twirling in her dress...playing with her babies, reading a book to herself...and secretly wish I could slow down time.
Is it because of my age, I don't know. Is it because I know I can't have anymore babies, I don't know.
The one thing I do know is this, I make every effort to spend as much time in the moment with my kids as I can, it's by far my very favorite place to be. posted by Angie @ 3/27/2005 06:37:00 PM |

I thought it was time for a fresh new look~
This suits me perfectly!
Marc and I are moving slowly this morning, gawd...are we that old already!
His desk is situated behind mine and it's late for him to still be at home.
He's in the middle of doing something or another and it's nice to just have him in the same room with me.
We occasionaly talk about the news or the kids but mostly nothing, I just know he's here and find peace in his presence.
AND THEN...REALITY CHECK...DUN...DUN...DUN!
Meredith is on the couch hollering (in her princess voice), wanting to be waited on hand and foot...will you change the channel, will you cover me up, will you get me a drink...and like the true parents we are...we both sit stealth quiet at our respective desks waiting for the other to answer...hehe...who can hold out the longest?
We both keep typing, waiting, typing, waiting, not breathing, pretending we didn't hear anything but she won't stop...ever...ugh...I may as well end this post because I need to save what nerves I've got left to last through the day! posted by Angie @ 3/18/2005 07:55:00 AM |

Wow!
It's been a while since I've posted.
Life has been busy, isn't it always?
Thankfully we are all healthy at the moment. I ended up with one of those suck the life out you sinus infections...my gosh...no voice, no energy, drag myself out of bed, barely get around infections that had me down for almost two weeks. Today is the first day I haven't taken a nap during the day...Go Me!
We've been blessed with a beautiful day here in North Texas so the teens are Six Flags...wooohooo! Working their energy out, I'm lovin' that!
Nikki, it was so great to connect with you...I sure miss you!
